Bicol University General Alumni Association Inc. (BUGAAI): A Legacy of Service
The Bicol University General Alumni Association Inc. (BUGAAI) has a rich history, shaped by the dedication and leadership of distinguished individuals like Dr. Lazara A. Julianda, Dr. Ramona Rañeses, Mr. Domingo Martinez, Dr. Violeta Diaz, and Dr. Faith Bachiller. These visionary leaders have guided BUGAAI in its mission to foster a strong sense of community among Bicol University alumni.
By virtue of Republic Act No. 8292, BUGAAI has had the privilege of representing its members on the Bicol University Board of Regents. Dr. Violeta Diaz made history as the first Alumni Regent, paving the way for continued alumni involvement in the university's governance.
Formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2003 as a non-stock, nonprofit organization.
